VIKING ALPINE LODGE
POSITIONS AVAILABLE FOR WINTER 2008
HOUSE PERSONS - all positions filled
1 x part time (No accommodation available)
Duties can include:
- Cleaning of rooms as they are vacated
- Servicing rooms daily
- Thorough cleaning of kitchen, lounge & dining areas daily
- Thorough cleaning of all corridors, public areas and entry daily
- Removal of all waste & rubbish from premises on a daily basis
- Laundry duties as required
Full time hours would be approximately 20 - 25 hours per week.
Part time hours would be approximately 8 - 25 hours per week mainly on weekends.
Time frame for the position is June 1 to October 6 or within a few days of these dates.
A suitable candidate could also be employed over the summer period by negotiation.
Duties would be shared with other house persons.
Wages - Start at $17.72 per hour depending on experience and/or relevant qualifications.
Accommodation is available on the premises.
Board (bed only) - $110 per week

VIKING SKI & BOARD HIRE
&
THE VILLAGE SKI HIRE
POSITIONS AVAILABLE FOR WINTER 2008
SKI HIRE / SHOP ASSISTANTS
1 x part time (No accommodation available)
Duties include:
- Sale & knowledge of skis, snowboards, boots and ski / board related equipment
- Manning of ski hire
- Fitting of ski hire equipment
- Minor tuning / waxing of skis & snowboards
- Delivery and pick up of rented equipment
- Cleaning of ski hire areas
- Stocking, restocking and tidying displays
Previous ski / board retail or rental experience preferred but not essential.
Full time hours are approx 30 - 45 per week. Duties shared on a roster system. At least 1 full day and 3 half days off per week.
Ski TuningTechnician approx 15 - 25 hours per week - Night job - 6pm to midnight.
Time frame for the position is June 1 to October 6 or within a few days of these dates.
Wages - Start at $19.11 per hour. Commensurate with experience.
Accommodation is available on the premises.
Board (bed only) - from $110 per week
Some accommodation may be off premises at a cost to be determined.
